About GME (Diploma in Marine Engineering)
If you are looking to switch your career to Marine Engineering, then this 12-month course offers you to start your career at sea as a junior / trainee engineer.
The course is duly approved the Directorate General of Shipping. The syllabi comprises of subject related to Marine engines and extensive workshop practices.
After 6 months of sea service on board merchant vessels you are eligible to write Class IV Part ‘B’ examination (Class IV Part ‘A’ examination, being exempted on the strength of the Degree awarded).
Upon successful completion, you become a Certified Engineer of the Merchant Marine are eligible to start lucrative careers within the Shipping industry world-wide.
