Work Experience: Viraj Singh is an experienced Chief Engineer with over 30 years of experience in the maritime industry. He has been serving as Chief Engineer since 2003, managing the operation and maintenance of diesel engines, electrical systems, and various ship machinery. His expertise includes handling diesel engines, electrical generators, HVAC systems, refrigeration, and hydraulic equipment. He is well-versed in the preparation and execution of planned maintenance systems, and dry-docking procedures, and ensuring compliance with international safety standards. Viraj has worked on crude oil tankers, bulk carriers, and refrigerated cargo ships for renowned companies like Wallem Ship Management, Chevron and NYK Ship Management.

Teaching Experience: Viraj joined IMI in 2023, bringing his extensive industry knowledge into the classroom. He teaches MEO 1 ,MEO2 ,BIGF, AIGF, RUCE, et al courses experience to prepare the next generation of marine engineers for their roles at sea.
