IMI wins the Naughtica 6.0

The International Maritime Institute (IMI) participated in Naughtica 2026, held in Mumbai. Joining for the third year, IMI joined 24 maritime training institutes and over 700 students for a day of competition in diverse fields.

IMI was represented by a contingent of 30 students who competed across 16 categories. The events included Troupe Dance, Battle of the Acoustic Bands, Doodle Art, Chess, Nautiskills, Nautifit, Futsal, Short Filmmaking, Table Tennis, Indoor Rowing, and Wow Factor, among others.

The participants invested rigorous preparation and training, demonstrating strong commitment and enthusiasm across all categories.

IMI delivered an outstanding performance and emerged as the overall winner of Naughtica 2026, leading the final medal tally. The key achievements are as follows:

  • First Place (Gold): Table Tennis (Rohan Kumar)
  • First Place (Gold): Wow Factor (Atharva Joshi)
  • Second Place (Silver): Nautifit (Amit Bhati)

In addition to the podium finishes, IMI teams showed their competitive edge in Futsal (semifinalists,) Troupe Dance (finalist) and earned a special mention in the Doodle Art category.

IMI’s success at Naughtica 2026 reflects its strong emphasis on holistic development, encouraging students to excel beyond academics – instilling confidence, teamwork, and mental well-being.

The achievement is a testament to the dedication, discipline, and collective effort of the students, making it a proud milestone for the institute.
