Eligibility

Any seafarer who has completed the four Basic Safety Courses, under STCW Regulation VI/1 and Section A-VI/1. Seafarers holding Basic or Advanced Level Gas Tanker Cargo endorsement / COP are not required to undertake this training.

Documents Required

Four Basic Safety Courses Certificates, 2 Nos Passport size photographs, Copy of Passport, CDC, Indos number, Vaccination Certificate- 2nd Dose (Soft Copy)

Very Important

The course will be conducted all 5 days at the Institute in the physical mode.
Kindly ensure your photo and signature in the seafarer profile is updated as the same would be used for Facial Attendance and certification as per DGS Directives.
Successful Completion of E-Learning Modules (Course ID- 5311) through the DGS website is mandatory. We advise you to complete the same prior to the course or prior to the course completion.
Candidates have to appear for DGS Exit exam at the Institute on the last Day of the course
Candidates should carry Boiler Suit and safety shoes for Practicals
