Greater Noida, India – 11 June 2025 – The International Maritime Institute (IMI) proudly celebrates the graduation ceremony of the Class of June 2025. The event marks a significant milestone for the 196 cadets who have successfully completed the rigorous academic and practical training of the one-year Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) course and the four-year B. Tech Marine Engineering degree course.
153 cadets graduated in the 41st Batch of the one-year DNS course, and 43 cadets graduated in the 17th Batch of the B. Tech Marine Engineering course. The cohort includes nine trail-blazing women cadets.
Chairman of The Caravel Group, Dr. Harry Banga, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the graduating cadets and their families. He commended their perseverance and dedication, and emphasised the importance of resilience, adaptability, and integrity in the maritime profession.

A Day of Celebration: Cadets and Industry Leaders Gather
IMI’s Head of Institute Captain Saurabh Varshney presided over the grand ceremony held at IMI Nautical campus located in Knowledge Park III, Greater Noida. In keeping with tradition, the event will feature a ceremonial lamp lighting, symbolising the enlightenment and journey ahead for the graduating cadets, and a tree planting ceremony representing IMI’s commitment to sustainability and future generations. Special awards recognise outstanding academic accomplishments, while displays of music, dance, yoga, and martial arts will be performed for proud families, faculty, industry partners and special guests.
